Concord DUI Arrests Prove Common Sense Still On The Endangered List

On June 26, 2025, the Concord Police Department arrested two drivers on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) during a targeted DUI enforcement patrol. Individuals arrested for DUI face serious consequences, including an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, along with a suspended driver’s license. The Concord Police Department reminds the public that impaired driving isn’t limited to alcohol. Prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, and cannabis—both medicinal and recreational—can all impair your ability to drive safely. Always read labels and follow usage directions, especially warnings about operating vehicles or heavy machinery. DUI enforcement patrols will continue throughout the year as part of the department’s ongoing commitment to roadway safety. This patrol was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Driven for 30 years high. Most of the time on long trips we would hot box blunts in the car the whole multi hour long ride. Even once went thru a police checkpoint with a lit joint in the backseat with multiple people.

ethnicity, IF you can afford a Good lawyer, etc . . . .
Process should be called, LOTTO JUSTICE.
.
Yet repercussions, costs and future expense of insurance are standardized,
known and for most of the population, minus alcoholics, has the effect of
reducing number of drunk drivers.
.
Hmm, . . . . . . maybe, the next District Attorney

The average DUI arrestee has driven drunk at least 80 times before getting busted, according to the booze counselors.
