One person was taken into custody after a short police pursuit in Concord this afternoon just before 1 p.m., according to police. A CHP helicopter assisted with the search for the suspect, who was apparently driving a stolen vehicle. The suspect crashed into a vehicle near downtown Concord, then drove on the sidewalk near Ellis Lake Park, and fled on foot. He was taken into custody a few minutes later.
