Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-10) announced he will host a virtual town hall to discuss the recently passed “Republican budget scheme, a bill that harms tens of millions of Americans and raises their cost of living in order to make the ultrarich even richer” on Thursday, July 10 at 4:00 p.m. PT.
The Congressman will take live questions on both Zoom and YouTube and address how this bill will allegedly harm California and the East Bay.

A budget that harms millions of people?….is there any other kind?
A budget that puts Americans first. It puts citizens of the United States of America first and helps to send the illegals packing! A budget that provides no more free rides to people who are not legally in this country. A budget that says no more freeloading, get to work 20 hours a week if you want to get some benefits .. in other words, show you are at least trying to contribute to society.

A suggestion: Rather than spending the next three years throwing rocks, consider presenting your party’s plan for the future. Right now you are focused on pleasing the outliers that may represent 20% of the population, and that’s why you can’t present your current plan. It excludes the wishes of the majority, and there isn’t enough ballot harvesting possible to pull you out of empty reservoir.
Come up with a plan to appeal to and properly represent the wishes of 80% of citizen taxpayers and I will be pleased to attend your meeting.
