QUESTION: What’s one thing you hate about getting older?
Losing loved ones. As I get older, my family is also getting older. My parents, aunts, uncles and
a couple of older cousins have gone to that great family reunion in the sky. It’s sad when I think about the fun we used to have as a family.

All my Lady Friends are right there with me. You name it, we got it.
But Tinnitus, wakes me up at night and can’t enjoy the sound of a quite morning.

Recognition of missed opportunities.
Things in general are great (yes, still have the aching knees, groan every time I stand up, no longer have hair that isn’t white), but I sometimes wonder what would have been if some of these opportunities weren’t missed.

My intolerance, for self intitled, self -important, selfie taking special human beings!
Not a thing.
Sure we have more aches and pains, but I look at that as the fee for wisdom acquired along the way.
And when it looks like society has gone to hell in a hand cart, I just remember that my grandfather thought that, and likely his grandfather did also.

Yelling “I can’t hear you if we’re not in the same room” 80-100 times per day. I’m ready to try the shoulder mounted radios cops use. Looks cool. I could call for another unit. Code 43 would be “She can’t hear me again”. And give me a taser while you’re at it.

Creaky knees (though I can still walk 20,000 steps in a day) and the fact that I have more years behind me than ahead of me and I have so many things I still want to do. More time to spend with our adult children and 16 grandchildren, places to visit and re-visit (Italy keeps calling us back), radio control airplanes to design and build, books to read, photos to take and edit, woodworking projects……….

Due to take Bone Density test. Is what it is. My philosophy is knowledge is power, therefore I’ll do what I have to. Key for me is to avoid fractures.
I miss having the energy I had when I was younger. Let’s see if I have the energy to hit “post comment.”
Requires a lot to type a reply. I need a nap now.
