A man who was shot in the head after pulling off of Interstate Highway 680 in the unincorporated Contra Costa County community of Alamo early Thursday morning is in stable condition and is expected to survive, according to the California Highway Patrol. The man was driving north in a black Tesla 3 shortly before 12:25 a.m. when his vehicle was struck by a bullet fired from someone in another vehicle south of Stone Valley Road. The victim pulled off the highway at Stone Valley Road when the suspect opened fire again, striking him in the head, CHP Officer Andrew Barclay said. He was alert and spoke to CHP officers when they arrived before being taken to a hospital, Barclay said. The CHP closed all southbound lanes of the highway during the investigation but has not released a description of the shooter’s vehicle. Anyone with information was asked to contact the CHP’s investigative tip line at (707) 917-4491.

Other news sites are reporting that the person shot was the female driver of the Tesla. She and two friends were driving north on I-680 when someone started shooting at the car. The driver suffered a graze wound at the back of her head, but she wasn’t seriously injured. The shooter’s car maneuvered to both sides of the car firing multiple shots on each side.

I cannot help but think this is another act of violence by an anti-Musk individual.

That’s scary! What’s funny though, is that liberals used to love buying Teslas, and most owners are liberals…so the Musk/ Trump haters are terrorizing their own people!
Although in a way it doesn’t surprise me cuz they’re basically all unhinged.

Sounds like road rage…. female driver so it’s even more likely, but who pulls over & stops when someone is shooting at you?
What are you expecting to do, exchange insurance information?
