As we previously reported, on June 13 at about 5:30 p.m., Walnut Creek Police officers responded to the 100-block of N. Wiget Ln. for a reported felony vandalism to multiple Tesla vehicles. A photograph of the suspect was sent out on social media and thanks to the community’s help, the suspect was ultimately identified.
On July 9, Walnut Creek Police Department Detectives obtained an arrest warrant and arrested Steven Grubka, a 60-year-old Concord resident, for felony vandalism.
He should have known better.
People with good character values don’t do such things.

Seems to me Tesla will likely make money on the repairs and negatively affect the owner’s insurance and vehicle values. The owners, that are likely to be predominately left of center politically I might add.
Grubka might get a sweet heart deal from the DA but no doubt the owners/ Insurance Companies are going to come after him in Civil Court for damages which might include punitive damages.
His neighbors, his employer and fellow employees of the CCC School District and the City of Martinez that gave him accolades for “being a leader in environmental stewardship” all know he was arrested for a felony. He now has a RAP (Record of Arrest and Prosecution) sheet which will list his felony arrest. He was fingerprinted, photographed and will have to make bail to be released.
I hope it was worth it…There are all types of Justice in this World.
