I’ll take a look – for starters, the address is 1428 Contra Costa Blvd. I was wondering why the brickwork looked familiar. Yaedam, a Korean BBQ and bar used to be there. It also was an all you can eat style place. Prior to that it was Chop Chop, a Korean BBQ that also used the all you can eat business model.
.
According to a Yelp review of someone who had patronized and liked Yaedam, Mumu has the same people. They added sushi and changed the name.
.
The Bottom Line – You need at least two adults paying $30, $40, or $60 each for their regular, better, or best Korean BBQ menus. Or, you can pay $33, $40, or $60 each for their regular, better, or best Japanese sushi menus. I’m leaning towards à la carte or one of the combination meals.

When they were still Yaedam they became our favorite Korean restaurant in the area. We had noticed about a week before the name change to Mumu they were doing some remodeling inside the restaurant. Then shortly after the old menu and names were gone. If it’s the same owners the food and quality should remain just as good.
Seems an odd pairing
but there’s no rules anymore.
Sushi and bbq, hard pass.
It’s sushi and Korean barbecue.
