A man allegedly threatened a Lowe’s employee with a firearm and used a racial slur after being asked to move his RV from the store’s private parking lot in Concord on Thursday evening. Police quickly located the suspect’s RV in the North Concord industrial area. Due to the nature of the incident, officers utilized specialized resources, including an armored vehicle, drones, and de-escalation tactics to ensure a safe outcome. The suspect surrendered without incident. A firearm was recovered from inside the RV, and he was taken into custody on multiple charges. His name was not released.

It wasn’t the racial slur that got him arrested although it seems to be what the press focused on. I have pictures and corresponding video of the whole thing. He pulled the gun out amd pulled the lever back and pointed at the employee and threatened to kill him while using several racial slurs. The employee remained calmed amd did not respond, detecting the the eractic man was looking for an excuse to fire that weapon that also was unregistered.

Entitled people think they can park their RV anywhere… but by looking around it seems precedent has been set due to the nobody enforcing the laws. I’m sure that was a registered firearm he is legally allowed to carry. LOL
I was lucky enough to listen to this entire episode on the scanner.
The Police Officers and Dispatchers did a fantastic job keeping the citizens safe and taking this characterless individual into custody.

When you associate speech with crimes, you make it seem like that speech is a crime. It ain’t.
Hate speech like racial pejoratives is a crime; so are death threats, inciting violence, yelling fire in a theater and proselytizing a violent overthrow of our government. ,
