Trucks with three or more axles, or those towing another vehicle, are limited to 55 mph on all highways in California, regardless of posted speed limits. No excuse for 95 in a truck. We have all sat on I-5 behind two trucks proving that their 68mph was faster than the others 68mph and it is terrifying to watch “and be stuck behind” so to see one doing 95??? check him for dope…. and if the picture is the real truck then Amazon needs a little talking to.
The area on south 5 isn’t given but FYI: The CHP training facility in Williams~~ they line the trainees up 2-car-team. If you speed just 10-15 mph over at their closest on/off ramps, especially if there are a half dozen cars speeding in a cluster … they will speed one cop past you…bull-horn blasting to– PULL OVER AND STOP, and the second car covers the last in the cluster. Two cops, get 6-or more speeders….

Thanks for the question. Sometimes we decide to put things on here that aren’t very local. However, it still has to do with us. Because going 95, when you’re driving a big rig on the freeway is dangerous and it’s fun to see what the chp deals with statewide. Sometimes we’ve put a lot of chp stories up that aren’t very local. But it’s still interesting to know what they have to go through. And what they see and what we have to look out for on the roads.
Because “road rage” and dangerous driving affects all of us on the road, anywhere.
