QUESTION: How often do you go to the dumps? Do you go to the one in Pittsburg or Martinez? Also – do you think their prices are too high, or just right?

Never. I rather pay a hauler to do the heavy and dirty work.
1-2 a year, depending on what’s going on. Always Martinez.

Since we have a little truck, … maybe once a year to Pittsburg.
I go into the dumps every time Governor Newsom comes out with some new edict. Takes me a day or two to get normal again.
OH! You mean the dump will you bring your discarded items. Gee do they even call it that anymore? To answer that question it was Martinez and about 10 years ago and as a recall I was shocked at the price they charged.
I believe minimum charge is $35 and that is ridiculous!
It’s no wonder so many jerks dump it alongside whatever lonesome stretch of road is nearby.

$42.50?!!! Yeah…. I haven’t gone for quite a while… what a rip off!
I usually just cut up whatever bulky junk I have and put some into my trash can each week until it is all gone…. furniture, scrap lumber, box springs, carpets, etc.
The Sawzall and Table Saws work great (use a utility razor knife for carpets).
Electric chainsaw for the big stuff.
If it fits in the trash bags you can schedule a free extended pickup on your regular trash pickup day.
You guys who dump it on the roadside are just lazy As##les.
Isn’t bailey rd the county dump? Or park n ride in concord.
At least four times a year, at least $100 every time. The prices keep going up so when I see a mattress on the side of the road I don’t even wonder why.

6-10 times a year. Comes with the job. I’ve seen 20 or more trucks lined up before. I turned around that day.
