Concord Police K9 Tripp proved once again why he’s one of the department’s most valuable partners. During a traffic stop late last night, the sharp-nosed K9 wasted no time getting to work. Within minutes, Tripp alerted officers to something suspicious inside the vehicle. A search turned up more than an ounce of methamphetamine and $800 in cash—evidence that quickly turned the stop into a drug sales case. The driver, a man with six prior drug convictions, was taken into custody. Thanks to Tripp’s instincts, another repeat offender is facing fresh charges.

“..a man with six prior drug convictions” walking/driving free among us and still committing crimes.
And likely home in time for dinner.
Must have been a needy…maybe homeless dealer….less then $500 there…poor guy….wow what a score…..like spitting in the grand canyon.
There is no reason why his name isn’t posted by the PD if he’s been convicted numerous times.
Good point and a picture please!

This story most likely came from the Facebook page for the Concord Police Department, and under California state law it is prohibited 🚫 for a law enforcement agency to put a mugshot for a non-violent crime on the social media site of a law enforcement agency.

District Attorneys just treating their job like a sport!
Way to go Police K9 Tripp. I believe I recall seeing who you’re trainer is. If it is the same Officer I’m thinking of, you are a fortunate K9.
Six time offender. Thats low hanging fruit.
