The first day of school is coming up, so please be aware of your surroundings, because thousands and thousands of kids will be walking, driving and rolling to school. Here are the start dates:

- Walnut Creek Unified: Aug.12
- Martinez Unified: Aug.13
- De La Salle/Carondelet: Aug.13
And don’t pass a school bus with flashing lights!
Every year – We hear the same message 2x per year: “Schools out, look out for kids”. “Schools in, look out for kids”. How about just: Look out for kids and anyone else while you’re driving.
