Summer Gas Prices Hold Steady Nationwide, Except in California, Where Pain At The Pump Persists

With just one month left in the summer driving season, gas prices have remained relatively steady, at least for most of the country. The national average for a gallon of regular sits at $3.16, following a July average of $3.15. While both crude oil prices and demand have ticked up slightly, it’s not enough to cause a noticeable spike at the pump. But in California, it’s a different story. The state average has climbed to $4.50 per gallon, with drivers in Contra Costa County paying even more: $4.58 on average.

… again …. Newscum’s campaign promises fall flat… he promised Calif gas prices would fall in line with national US prices as he would hold big oil’s feet to the fire to bring them down … did he fulfil his campaign promise? Noooooo Another was that he would stop the high speed rail to no where project to save taxpayers billions! …. did he? Noooooooo and what surprised me was that he got re-elected – and beat a recall! I’m glad I didn’t vote for his lies

Newsom is a pathological liar. He could at least save Medi Cal from Trump’s Big Bogus Bill.

Yes, and we can thank the California
Democrats for that.

Actually, and I said this earlier, it’s actually been cheaper lately at the Arco in Concord. This started around July. Everywhere else is more expensive. Today it’s $4.19, which is about a .10 increase from last week. Back in June it was $4.39 to $4.69. Meanwhile the national average is $3.17 today. It was $3.18 in June. The highest price at Arco was $5.09 back in April. All pricing listed is for the cheapest blend, when paying with a debit card. It’s .10 cheaper if you use cash or their mobile app.
