In some contexts, “it is what it is” can imply
a lack of motivation or desire to improve
a situation.
This interpretation can be seen as apathy
or resignation.
The phrase can also be a reminder that things
are always changing.
The phrase can be seen as a way to detach
from negative emotions associated
with uncontrollable situations.

Not irrationally angry, but some that irritate would include “It is what it is.” and “No worries.”

Not really a phrase, the word “literally” – it is literally the most annoying word. People use this word in place of some other words they have no clue how to use.

Nothing on God’s green earth has the power to make me irrationally angry. However, there
are some words and phrases that are being used today that I find fatuous. “Bad actor,” when describing a person that is dishonest and unethical. In my opinion, an actor is a male whose profession is performing on stage, TV, and in movies, and a female performer is an actress.
“At the end of the day” is another phrase that everybody seems to be saying a lot lately.
“Let me be very clear” as if they are talking to a stupid person. “On the world stage,” sorry,
but a stage belongs in a theater. “Honestly” when the person is obviously lying.
There’s a whole slew of political phrases, but I decided to keep politics out of it.

I know I’ve said this before but….
Hot Water Heater – There is no such thing, it is redundant.
There is a “Water Heater” but if the water was already HOT why would you need to heat it?
It’s just a WATER HEATER!

And… “I could care less” That would mean that you DO CARE to some degree.
What the boobs who say this are trying to imply is that they actually “Couldn’t care less” because they do not care at all.

“Right?” after a statement. I hate it when people say that. Are you asking for reassurance? That I agree with you? I am going to start using it as an opportunity to really question what they are saying.

“be well”…….,but also the incorrect ” irregardless of ……”
“It is what it is.” Nowadays when I hear that, it is often from someone who won’t take any responsibility or action to change their situation.
“My bad.” Often used as an insincere non apology, very seldom followed up by some corrective action.
