What did one slice of bread say to the other before the race? You’re toast!
Cowellian’s first.
It’s been a great week for me, and I hope it’s also been for y’all.
It’s been a pissmeoffweek, all week. Blame a lot of it on Claycord news. 😉

Scenario: typical disaster movie where the earth is falling apart, people are disappearing into sink holes, the tsunami is rising 200 feet high – and the main character is telling their family “It’s okay! We’re okay! It’s all gonna be okay!” as they maneuver around boiling magma or whatever.
Question: what would you wish the main character would say?
“Well I’ll be damned……Al Gore was right after all!”
Be prepared to meet your maker.
“The earth is like a bag of flour and humans like weevils. Things don’t always go as planned.”
Yesterday there was a kid on an e-bike riding down the middle of the street in my neighborhood. Yes, the middle of the road.
He started doing tricks and zig zagging oblivious to the fact I was behind him. I remained patient until he attempted to stand up on the seat at 25MPH with me behind him. I finally blipped the horn, and undeterred he waved at me to go around him.
Now this kid is eventually going to get splattered, and I’m fine with that but do have empathy for the driver of the car that hits him, because it won’t be their fault.
Have you noticed most of those e-bikes don’t have mirrors?
Parents, if you’re going to buy little Gump and e-bike, at least put mirrors on it and show him how to use them. Otherwise he may end up like Lieutenant Dan.
..sounds like the group that goes down Oak Grove Rd and on one occasion on YVR in a regular traffic lane!
It’s not a Gin or Tonic, it’s a Gin & Tonic dammit!
Twist of lime or two.
Its 102 in the shade here, I don’t care, I just add more ice
and if that doesn’t work, more gin.
Air conditioning is for the Air Force and other frail beings.
Science after all. 🫠 🍸
Pet peeve of mine when I tended bar years ago was people asking for a “twist of lime” there is no such thing, it’s a “squeeze of lime” & a “twist of lemon” Limes are too thin skinned for a twist… it isn’t impossible, but it would be difficult (and not taste like much) to make a twist of lime.
Also…..
When some ditz comes in and orders a “Doopie Doodle” or a “Zippity Popper” or some other dumb drink thought up at a Yuppie bar she went to & I’m supposed to know what it is and how to make it?
“OK” I’d say…. What is it?” and of course she has no idea and I’m busy as hell & wasting time waiting for Miss Ditz to remember anything from her remaining live brain cells to give me a clue what she was drinking.
Speaking of brain cells, in the 1990’s a “Brain Hemorrhage” was a popular drink. The bartender at Vic Stewart’s knew how to make them. They were visually impressive.
@ Spectator,
I remember that one from the eighties.
It looked more like ruptured bowels than brains.
While I’m not entirely sure what you’re going on about Jelly
I bet we agree the expense and effort it takes to make
a good cocktail is usually worth it.
Worth it?
It really depends on how much the ladies drink….
Was searching items for bathroom upgrade and came across this site.

Anyone else get the ‘Karoline Levitt, 27 shows her huge size’ ads on
Claycord? How fricken mean is that? Who clicks on that crap?
It ain’t right. Pisses me off is what it does.
I get she’s a ghoul, but damn, that’s low.
I don’t pay any attention to ads, but I get your point. I do notice the weather.
Karoline is intelligent and extremely competent in her position, and is quite impressive at such a young age. Karoline’s not a ghoul, she’s great, like frosted flakes.
