A vehicle fire has now extended to roadside vegetation, on Kirker Pass Rd just south of the Pittsburg city limits. This is being dispatched as a full wildland fire response. Northbound traffic is being shut down. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes.
Update: Forward progress has been stopped and the fire is close to containment.
