Another person in an EV that doesn’t know how to drive.

Could it be that it has car dealer plates on it and this happened during a test drive? I see it’s a new Chevrolet.

Someone seems to have failed parallel parking during their road test.

Likely tried to cut the line to go straight on sunset and got trucked. Stupid people…. just get in the line like everyone else. The right lane turns right and the left turns left with the center going through so figure it out.

I drove by them earlier. I wonder if it was another person who didn’t know that the original lane she was in was a right turn only. Many people miss or ignore it and go straight and almost cause an accident.

Well, to be honest… Concord has done some really creative (eyeroll) downtown lane/sidewalk/curb zig-zag disappearing lane re-configurations.

Some people just aren’t good at stuff
no matter how much help is available.
and that’s not even accounting for being ripped
on some combination of RXs no one has ever tested
or stoned on pharmaceutical grade weed.
then add a phone…

NO Hydrants were harmed. ✅
Back in the war they called ‘`em tank traps.
Then again, could be an engineer was traumatized as a child by a vehicle.

Unbelievable, one way Clayton Road at Grant street, there is a right turn only onto Grant.
To left of the trapped vehicle video shows dashed line for next right turn lane. If someone
unfamiliar with area proceeds across Grant on Clayton Rd, that pit sticks out into lane
blocking, That tank trap sticks out into street, in a heavy rain or fog it’s going to eat
another vehicle.
.
How did city not catch that screw up ? ? ? ? ?
Blind or unable to think WHAT COULD GO WRONG with this.
.
CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS go look for yourselves and think worst case,
it’s going to happen again ! ! !
.
Some lawyer is going to have fun . . . . . . .
Check out street view east bound Clayton road at grant.

What with the totally stupid timing of the traffic signals at Grant & at the pedestrian crosswalk prior to Grant there is usually a solid traffic backup from Galindo to the intersection of Colfax & beyond. Many people try to use the outside lane to bypass the blockage & dive bomb into the thru lane. When you find yourself out of usable lane, this could well be your fate. Further aggravation in the same area: Why is it OK with the city to allow Grant Street owners to leave big dumpsters in the outside right turn lane between Colfax & East St. blocking that lane?? I’m pretty sure that if I parked my car there I would be cited promptly & possibly towed.
