I wish people would understand, Texas redistricting is allowed by their state constitution. California passed laws that said no. This is why I have an issue with what Newscum is proposing … he wants to temporarily change the constitution to fit his needs. And he wants to change it through 2028, which would be after Trump leaves office … so Newscum is trying to buy the presidential election as well.
And then you look at the maps .. what do Marin and Redding have in common? Nothing.

Then we have California giving a driver license to an ILLEGAL who has now killed three innocent people – all because California is a sanctuary state. And what has Newscum said about the three innocents killed because of his personal opinions he has placed upon us … NOTHING!

More damning news out regarding CA’s bullet train.
The latest report from High Speed Rail Authority says that $1 Billion per year is needed from the state to fund the project. This will allow the train to complete the leg from Bakersfield to Merced by 2032. Another projection, the Bakersfield to Merced stretch will operate at a multi million per year loss and require the state to make up the difference.
If you recall, the train to nowhere was originally sold as a cheap alternative to flying between LA and SF. The cost was estimated at $33 Billion with service between LA and SF beginning in 2020. And it was supposedly going to be self funding. We have already spent more than the original estimate, are at least 6 yrs behind schedule, and only have an unfinished leg between two rural cities that nobody wants to go to. The full LA to SF plan was scrapped by Newsome as too costly. If you want the full, original vision of LA to SF, then CA would need an additional $87Billion above what has already been wasted.
The only thing high speed about this boondoggle is how fast the money disappears.
Newsom’s election supporters were repaid with lucrative contracts to build the project.
So were his athletic supporters.

We would’ve been better off if the State of California just extended the Amtrak rail line from Bakersfield to Santa Barbara, so that we could get rid of the horrible bus bridge that currently exists between those 2 cities.

Even Congressman Mark DeSaulnier has said that the State of California made a huge mistake with the route chosen, and that the state should’ve put the HSR line down the center of I5, where a right-of-way already existed.
Just one of many mistakes that Newsome made. They continue to make really big mistakes because they insist on throwing good $ after bad $.
