Currently there are a lot of fire apparatus on the road.
i have not seen one EV emergency vehicle.
i know that Palo Alto has a Rivian but i have not seen
a police vehicle or an ambulance.
Why ?
If Newsom wants an EV mandate why are we not
seeing ev emergency vehicles?
Because the agencies know they are unsuitable for emergency vehicle work outside of command cars and maybe ambulances.
They will fight to the bitter end.
What’s with the bright yellow brake calipers on those Rivian electric vehicles?
Maybe an LGBTQ thing.
No, it’s a motor thing. The yellow calipers only come on the vehicles with the quad motor (whatever that is).
Had to start carrying a pencil and small pocket sized note pad.

August 28, 2025 is the 62 anniversary of “The March on Washington’ and MLK’s famous speech. In downtown Walnut Creek that day in 1963 a small group of people had a short march and listened to a speech in the City Park.
