Ive left a couple good reviews on yelp. But i dont like being known as a yelper that criticizes businesses. Thats such a jerk move.
Drives me nuts when people make a life out of yelping restaurant’s. Using their selfie as their profile picture. Go get a life.

Yes. Although Yelp is like the mafia if you’re a business owner (play ball or we’ll hide your good reviews), it’s at least a place you can mostly find honest reviews. You have to know how to read them though. Skip the “sponsored results” and scroll down to the organic results and read those reviews looking for fakes. The reviews you see on company websites are all curated and complete BS. At least with Yelp and Google you can see a trend develop if the business is scammy.

Yes for Google, no for the “pay to play” scam

No, I do not, and I don’t read any of them neither. People lie, They lie in surveys and polls,
and they will lie when giving a review.
One of life’s lessons that I learned a long time ago is, never believe everything you read or
hear, and only half of what you see. These days, with the use of AI, I don’t even believe half
of what I see anymore.

No, … I have nothing to Yelp about.
Just go to check reviews on places I may consider going to or services for.

yes but rarely and only for business which exceed expectation.

I rarely do but if I do it’s because it’s positive.

Sometimes. Gotta be pretty bored though.

I put positive ones up. Someone would really have to tick me off to post a bad review.

it is pretty widely accepted in small business that if a person is happy with your services they’ll tell someone. If they’re unhappy, they’ll tell 10 people.

I post reviews on both and I try to be fair.
When reading I look at the best and worst reviews. .

Not normally. If I do, its usually Google
and would have to be because it will help
a friend networking their business, or their
contribution to the Community and frankly
made me believe I could trust in them in what
they were were saying.
