At the request of Claycord.com, Congressman Mark DeSaulnier released the following statement on what he calls the “murder” of Charlie Kirk:
“From the assassination of Minnesota state representative Melissa Hortman earlier this summer to yesterday’s murder of Charlie Kirk, I categorically reject political violence that is threatening our democratic society.”
If you reject it, STOP with the weaponized language!
Yet DeSaulnier supports it by his previous actions and comments.

An already ailing Democrat Party died ‘suddenly’ between 2008 and 2012. The slide into Socialism led to the theft of what remained of its soul, and final burial of all but the Dem name was completed during the next four years.
I so vehemently disliked the ignorant, strutting war monger, Geo Bush Jr and every person who worked for him, that (I’m ashamed to admit) I voted for Obama in 2008. I will forever be sorry.

I disagreed with virtually everything Charlie Kirk stood for politically, but I admired his courage to engage in respectful debate and to connect with youth in political discussion. After watching many of his debates online, I quit following him because I found him to be racist, homophobic, and held Christianity to be superior to other religions and government…but he certainly didn’t deserve to be assassinated—thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.
Praying to … ? (Actually, it’s OK. It’s not top knotch—) …but really…. Just thinking of praying may be heard when it is most needed. Who are we to say?

I actually consider this statement by desaulnier as a “least he could do” kind of thing. It rings meaningless. I know nuisance also released a statement, and while usually I would put it entirely on his political savvy, I really do not think gavin is that cold hearted about the violent death of a young family man., so his words rang mostly true to me.
