Who remembers Bob’s Big Boy on Treat Blvd. in Concord? It was located on Treat at Bel Air Dr., where Huckleberry’s is now located. The site closed in the 90s, and eventually turned into CoCo’s restaurant. Bob’s Big Boy still has over 60 restaurants in the United States, and 274 in Japan.

What about the one the one that was located where Walgreens is on Oak Grove. There was a Shell gas station on the corner part and a Big Boy to the left.

I remember going to Bob’s Big Boy for the last day of school meal. Continued for a few years after Bob’s closed and became Coco’s, but, sitting in the atrium area eating a Big Boy burger brings back memories.

Bob’s Big Boy, CoCo’s, Mel’s, and now Huckelberry’s. We’ve eaten at all of them. My wife’s favorite was Big Boy. There’ve been a lot of changes over the years for this restaurant site. I liked Mel’s, but the pandemic was likely what killed it off.

I loved me some Bob’s Big Boy!
I’d meet for lunch at the Big Boy in Danville (Alamo?) at lunch time.

As a teenager, I spent a lot of time cruising Shoney’s Big Boy in East Nashville. But by the time I got out of the Navy, Shoney’s still existed, but they were no longer a Big Boy franchise. So, when we moved to Claycord, I was very happy to find a Bob’s Big Boy. The kids loved it there, and none of the restaurants that followed were ever as much fun as Bob’s!

I ate there all the time. I also remember that the Bob’s Big Boy statue was stolen quite often by the high school students in the area,
