Concord Man Found Murdered In Napa County

A Concord man was found fatally shot on the side of the road in a remote area of Napa County on Sunday morning, authorities said. The man, identified as 20-year-old Salvador De Jesus Castillo-Hernandez, was found about 9:40 a.m. in the 2600 Block of Monticello Road, also know as State Route 121. A caller who discovered the victim told authorities that the man had blood on his clothes and wasn’t moving, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office. Castillo-Hernandez had been shot multiple times, the sheriff’s office said. The motive and circumstances of the shooting are not known.
