Weird thing to dig your heels in on
considering you’re probably here
because of a massively successful
national vaccination program
that has lasted decades.
Don’t chip my paint none, but
there are better battles.
That’s funny, I am here because I listen to my own experience and trust my body. I don’t take the annual flu shot and never have don’t get sick either. The vaccine doesn’t stop the spread either so the massively succesful national vaccination program has done very little except to enable people to shame others for their personal decisions. Go take as many shots as you want see that’s the other difference here…
Sorry Atticus, I never took the experimental vaccine that apparently doesn’t work anyway.
So it didn’t successfully stop anything for me. My antibodies did that. I’m still here.
And like bddp, I have never taken the flu shot either, and have yet to get the flu.

The reelection of Trump. I don’t like many of his policies. And my best friend, who really likes Trump, and I agree that pardon the J6 Rioters is the worst thing Trump did.
According to google AI …
Joe Biden granted a total of 4,245 acts of clemency during his presidency, many of which were signed using an autopen. A large number of these actions, particularly those conducted in the final weeks of his term, were made for broad classes of offenders rather than on an individual basis.
Oh yea, sure, the J6 folks must of been the worst.
Two things. One, is my Mom being arrested for DUI when I was 10 years old. That day changed my life and I grew up real fast in that moment. Her alcoholism spun out of control, and I had to be the care taker for my little sister.
Also, I have spent my entire adult life working in a 9-1-1 Communications Center. Taking 9-1-1 calls changes the way you see the world… you see how people treat each other, in your own community.. scary stuff.

War. The inner conflict caused by actions and events that went against my moral and
ethical beliefs had a profound effect on how I view people and the world. The experience
of war can and does cause negative effects on some veterans, it had the opposite effect
on me. After witnessing the harm and death of human beings, and the traumatic experience
of being shot down and coming close to death, and having my best friend shot and killed, instilled in me a greater appreciation of life, be it human or animal.

My wife and I spent 2 1/2 months in Europe 2 years after we got married and visited 13 countries. Spending time in the different countries significantly broadened our view of the world and cemented our desire to travel more. We didn’t travel to Europe again until after our children were adults and out on their own, but we’ve been “making up for lost time” since then. In addition to a trip to Canada (BC and Alberta) we’ve been back to Europe 5 times in the last 8 years, for a total of almost 4 months (not counting our first trip). There would have been 1 or 2 more trips if not for COVID.

Covid. They way they manipulated people into doing what they wanted. Our government doesn’t want people who think. They want sheep.

J6 clearly was super traumatic for him…😂

There have been a lot of sharp points & nicked edges along the way. I don’t share them.
This may ease some though.
