A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck just over a mile southeast of Berkeley early Monday morning, the United States Geological Survey said. The quake hit at 2:56 a.m. at a depth of more than 4 miles, according to the USGS. The tremor was reportedly felt across the Bay Area.

Yup…. with the earthquake alert too
i felt it this morning. It rattled the house . I live in Walnut Creek. It did not phase my 2 dogs thats good.
Yes, biggest jolt I’ve ever felt with one. Woke me didn’t feel like any 4.3. Initially 4.7. Nothing broke, but it was “mean one.”
Slept thru it.
News reporting downgraded to 4.3. I dont buy it.
Aware what earthquake seismic reads they say,
after downgrade, but I don’t buy it. This was an
angry jolt.
Yes it woke me up and surprised that warning showed up on the phone immediately. Last one that was felt near this strong was the Napa quake.

Yes I was awake and sitting on the toilet when it hit. It was weird because I felt it coming from the east like a wave and then 1 very strong jolt and I felt it continue to roll to the west. It was an interesting experience. Most of the earthquakes I’ve experienced in the past are shakers and rattle the house. I don’t think my house even creaked anywhere at all.

I was doing some research on the computer when it hit. I heard it for about 1/2 a second,
then I began to rock ‘n roll, but the cat slept right through it.
But don’t blame me, it wasn’t my fault, it was San Andreas Fault.
Actually, it was the Hayward fault.

I slept through that one, but felt the 3 pointer around 6pm tonight. The Hayward is either letting off steam or fixing to blow.
Did not feel it, but then again I am in Europe 😉
