Yes. It makes moving on easier rather than holding the grudge.

As a baptized Christian, I believe in the words of Christ. Yes is my answer.
On earth is our Justice system. Only God knows their fate after life on earth.
“Forgive” for my own mental health and ability to move on in life. However, this in No way means I befriend them or deny what our laws & justice will do to them. PS: I don’t think I would be able to do it too soon though……….I might have one of those Gary Plauché moments.
No…. I would have to learn to move on – but not “forgive” the person

Honestly I am petty. I know I should but don’t think I can right away. It would take time.

Nah, I hope they rot in hell, if there is such a thing.
I’ll forgive myself for feeling that way and move on.

No.
I could not.
I know the Lord said “Vengeance is mine” & that’s fine with me, he can take vengeance and damn the killer’s eternal soul to hell or whatever else, but there is no reason we can’t send the offender to God ASAP and let him get started.
Not an original idea but it’s one I happen to agree with.
Blood debts are usually about ego.
But philosophically, if you snuff out a bright light,
we have no need of yours. It’s practical more
than anything.
We’re sayin’ the same thing. 👊🏼

No. They do not deserve forgiveness. Anyone that pretends to forgive is doing it all for show, to look good. or never really cared that much about that person that was killed.
That’s a pretty poisonous idea. I don’t know if I could forgive someone for that. But I’m not going to point at acts that are bigger and better than me and try to cut them down to my size.

Once they’re dead, sure, I’ll be
all about forgiveness then.
That’s a hard one and I really wouldn’t know unless I was put in that position. Erika Kirk is a better person than me as I don’t think I could forgive as quickly. If it came, it would come over time.

It takes more strength to hate than to forgive.

Posthumously.
100% agree.
