Fall is officially here, bringing lower gas prices and winter-blend gasoline which is cheaper to produce. The Atlantic hurricane season is halfway over, but the tropics remain a concern for the next two months if there’s storm activity in the Gulf that affects refineries in the area. The national average for a gallon of regular dropped five cents since last week to $3.15. Today California drivers will find an average of $4.64, a penny drop from last week.

Fuel Prices Around the State:

Contra Costa: $4.62
San Francisco: $4.72
Oakland: $4.63
San Jose: $4.56
Sacramento: $4.56
Fresno: $4.60
Stockton: $4.48

So is Gavvy going to take credit for this? Looks like he’s trying to take credit for the PG&E October rebates or credit. What a schmuck.
