Purgatory. Watched it last evening. The 1999 Fantasy Western Film. Sam Shepard, Eric Roberts,
Donnie Wahlberg, Randy Quaid. Refuge is a town where some of the dead go for a last chance at redemption. Sam Shepard around surely helps, as does a gritty performance from Eric Roberts as leader of the outlaws. I really enjoy westerns historical or in this case fantasy.

Many know Purgatory is a complex theological question with room for varied intrepretations.
I know what I believe. Enjoy if you watch it. It’s good…

Sugar – Apple TV

It has a very unexpected unforeseen twist about the protagonist. Now that the cat is out of the bag so to speak, it will be interesting to see how they will proceed with the series. Can the writers keep the suspense going or will it be another private-eye/ police procedural story?

If it looks interesting to you, do yourself a favor and do not do too much research. It will ruin the twist
in the 2nd act.

Alien Earth
Doc
Brilliant Minds

I will discuss a movie, but I won’t recommend one because people have different taste.
What I like in a movie, others may not, and I don’t watch a lot of TV.

Valkyrie. It is based on Operation Valkyrie, a failed assassin attempt on hitler. I can’t believe hitler survived so many assassin attempts. His protection suck

Recommend: The Lost Bus

based on a true story and close on actual events

The boy in the striped pajamas a WWII movie made in 2008

NCIS with original staff = Gibbs, Ziva, D’Noso, Abbey …. movies – the early Star Wars movies.. yeah it’s been that long since I’ve seen one I’d actually recommend

Top Guns: The next generation It’s a 6 part documentary (an hour a week) about Navy and Marine Corps fighter and attack pilots in the final phases of their training. It’s produced by National Geographic and also shown on Disney+. It’s outstanding.

Silent Running. That was a good movie.

I had some friends who got a tune in “Vanishing Point”. I have it on laser disc which has probably rotted besides the player needs a some repair. Another movie you’ve listed was by an old neighbor of mine. 😎

Landman & Tulsa King

Series:
Dark Winds – AMC
Task – HBO
Last Week Tonight – HBO
Gilded Age – HBO

“Slow Horses”, one of the best things streaming right now and there isn’t much good streaming these days unless you are into “golden oldies”. Trump wants to put 100% tariffs on foreign movies and TV but I don’t think that will help the lack of creativity out of Hollywood.

I still recommend Down Periscope and Blazing Saddles.

Naming The Dead ( National Geographic series) and the latest season of Prosecuting Evil starring Kelly Siegler streaming on Peacock. Agree that Slow Horses is well worth watching.

Fleccas talks the podcast. The best news podcast of all time. Words are just words until action actually starts… and actions speak louder than words… but at the same time words speak louder than actions because sometimes it’s the right thing to do

The Andy Griffith Show on every afternoon on Xfinity channel 72!! Still some of the funniest stuff on TV

I just watched a movie, “The Wrath Of Becky” on Netflix.
Very entertaining.

The long long trailer…The Andy Griffith show, and I love Lucy
