I am so happy Trump did not get his Nobel Prize. OH he did get is Nobel Prize I gave him a Nobel Prize it’s just a box that said NOBULL. Now that is a perfect prize for him lol

15
49

trump does deserve the Nobel Peace Prize. But he definitely earn the Nobel Putz Prize.

8
33

It’s pathetic and immature period, being happy a sitting President of The United States did not receive a Nobel Prize no matter what your political beliefs are.

29
6

the woman who won the prize dedicated it to him and thanked trump for the work he is doing to improve the living conditions in her country. so BOOM !

36
2

Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado on Friday said her historic Nobel Peace Prize isn’t just a victory for her embattled nation — it’s also a tribute to President Donald Trump, whose policies have “restored democracy and freedom in the Americas.” from the new york post

34

Concordejet,
.
All of the nominations that President Donald Trump received after the January 31, 2025 nomination deadline are for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize, not the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize. Although, given the makeup of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, it’s highly unlikely that they’d ever be willing to award the Nobel Peace Prize to President Donald Trump.

14

Who cares if the lefty Nobel Committee didn’t award Trump the Nobel Peace Prize?
That award hasn’t meant anything since they gave it to Obama for doing absolutely nothing
except get elected.

53
19

But daddy Trump is actively campaigning for the prize. On many occasions, he has said that he should be awarded and asked people to vote for him.

7
33

Well boo friggin hoo! Paul… he’ll get over it.
It’s not like he isn’t used to being treated unfairly.
Did you happen to watch any real news channels this week?
Not CNN or MSNBS…. the anti Trump channels of censored news.
*
Honest news networks are reporting that the whole world is celebrating Trump now & singing his praises!
*
Maybe there should be a new Peace Prize… instead of the one created by Alfred Nobel (inventor of dynamite and other explosives ) to help change his legacy as “the man who became rich by finding ways to kill more people faster than ever before”.

I don’t know why Trump should actually want even more accolades than he’s already receiving, but maybe some prominent people should form a new awards committee that isn’t so shallow & left wing and form one instead that puts all their personal politics aside and simply decides to award whoever is most deserving.

26
8

nobel prize was forever stained and cheapened by awarding it to obama.

44
7

… and President Trump handled it with aplomb and very nice praise for the woman they awarded it to.

28

“This year’s Nobel Peace Prize winner Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Machado has dedicated her award to the people of her country and to President Trump for his “decisive support” for democracy in Venezuela.
Machado applauded the recognition of Venezuela’s struggle for freedom in a post on the social platform X.
“We are on the threshold of victory and today, more than ever, we count on President Trump, the people of the United States, the peoples of Latin America, and the democratic nations of the world as our principal allies to achieve Freedom and democracy,” she wrote.
“I dedicate this prize to the suffering people of Venezuela and to President Trump for his decisive support of our cause!”.

He actually did accomplish something huge – He divided the nation.
It show’s further that the Nobel prize really doesn’t mean much anymore.

8
19

Dr. J,
Obama devided the nation, that is. That was his one big accomplishment.

23
7

Then Biden came along and divided the nation even more. Every time he opened
his mouth, all we heard was “white supremacists,” and “MAGA Republicans.” He
called Republicans garbage and labeled them as semi-facists. He was always angry
and had an intolerant view of the Republicans as a whole, and that is the definition of a bigot. At least with Trump, he is specific and isn’t afraid to name the people he dislikes.

20
3

Lets not forget obama allowing mid east refugees in with little to no vetting.
Unscrupulous foreign embassy workers sold their country’s passports.

Ol’ Gavvy is going all out to grab the headlines and sign things as if it will make a difference to get fools to vote for the fool as President. We must want to see how much deeper and darker he can drag the nation into with boots on the necks of the public. And does he dream of a “Napa White House”? Resist!

French Kitchen White House.

It’s Italian-American Heritage and Culture month! This was established by an act of Congress in 1989, and is celebrated to coincide with Columbus Day. Our continent (and the one south of us) is named after an Italian; we could have been known as the United States of Vespucci. Also, note that our nation’s capitol is named in honor of Columbus.

Viva Italia!

26

Wops are tops!

12

Aso!
D.C. = District of Columbia
The nation of Columbia was named in honor of Chris too.
I guess we just have to share Columbus Day with Indigenous People’s Day?
What a burn!
We should give the Injuns their own special day and Columbus should not have to share.
Let’s see… Indigenous People’s Day…..how about June 25th?
According to my calendar that day is open unless “New Moon” is a holiday.

14
3

There are lots of places named after Columbus. We have the Columbia River, and
Columbia University. There are many counties and cities named after Columbus,
Columbus, Ohio is one, and there are hundreds of streets, avenues and monuments.
One thing people seem to forget is, even though he was Italian, he sailed for Spain.
Maybe we should celebrate Queen Isabella Day too.

6
2

Dr. Jellyfinger,
.
The Friday after Thanksgiving has already been federally designated as National Native American Heritage Day since President George W. Bush signed it into law. Prior to this designation, the month of November was designated as National Native American Heritage Month by President George H.W. Bush and prior to that the week containing November 23rd was designated as American Indian Week by President Ronald Reagan. The State of California, and a few other states, recognize the fourth Friday in September as Native American Day and some other states have designated other days recognizing American Indian Day/Native American Day, other than Indigenous Peoples Day.

Sounds like we need to declare another 4 Columbus holidays just to keep up!

I’ve lost all respect for the Nobel Peace Prize
Here they gave it to Obama because he gave talks about peace ( yet the world became more inflamed) yet they won’t give it to Trump even though he brokered seve difficult peace deals this year! My hat’s off to the Venezuelan winner though for her tribute to Trump in helping against their dictator regime.

38
13

He’ll get it next year… for his accomplishments this year.

I can’t believe that they voted to encrypt all law-enforcement radio broadcast. You can’t listen to the police radio on the scanner anymore in Concord. Not many people listen to the police scanner but enough did to keep them honest. It’s a total blackout now. Power tends to corrupt and absolute power, corrupts absolutely. They said they did it for police safety reasons. But what about our safety to keep the storm troopers from breaking down our door?
There needs to be more checks and balances.

15

that would allow listening to new digital system.

8

Just Saying,
.
They don’t want the media reporting on their activities unless it’s via official press releases where departments can craft the narrative and they don’t want “Cop Watchers” showing up on scene to record their activities because of the thousands upon thousands of internet videos which show the police as being poorly trained, incompetent, ignorant of the law, and outright corrupt.

This year isn’t the first time that President Donald Trump has been nominated for and hasn’t won the Nobel Peace Prize. While we don’t know how many times that he’s been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, as records of those nominated won’t be released for 50 years, we do know that in addition to at least 4 nominations he received after the January 31, 2025 nomination deadline, he also received at least 6 nominations in 2024 and Januaryof 2025, at least 4 nominations in 2020, and at least 2 nominations in 2018, for a total of at least 16 nominations. The 4 nominations that he received after the 2025 will apply to the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize. The Nobel Peace Prize has lost its luster, one can make the argument that President Theodore Roosevelt, President Woodrow Wilson, and former President Jimmy Carter were deserving of the award, but the awards given to former Vice President Al Gore and President Barack Obama weren’t really all that deserving of the award, which has hurt the reputation of the Nobel Committee and the Nobel Peace Prize itself.

27
5

It must be really hard for the progressive liberal Democrat supporters to now see a president that actually is practicing accountability, who is actually enforcing laws, and who is realistically addressing government waste, inefficiency and corruption.

Trump and the treasure secretary just gave $20b to Argentina; it is a bailout for the Argentina farmers who then under cut the soybean price and to sell the soybean to China. The us soybean farmers are about to loose theirs shirts. So much for the “American first”

4
23

So we should just let Argentina overcome their economic desperation by by becoming totally dependent on China rather than helping them so that we can maintain a stable ally in Latin America ?
Is that how simply the problems are solved in the world of knee jerk leftist lunacy?
Maybe we should encourage soybean farmers in the USA to plant other crops?
The USA already provides subsidies to soybean farmers.
In 2024, soybean farmers received $1.9 billion in subsidies.
Soybeans are one of the most subsidized crops in the country.

Important crap Newscum is working on this week …

Outlaw the declawing of cats. That was such a sharp topic to be addressed! I have had the company of cats for over 50 years … never had one declawed. The current ones and last one. All three had the same vet who just said they would not declaw. I have not a vet who would … but glad Newscum is on the ball. What a waste of time and media reporting

reparations … reparations for slaves in California. Umm, study history moron, we were a free state. Two, why do I, never a slave owner, have to pay someone, who was never a slave, a single penny encase the great granddaddy was a slave? This pisses me off! He is throwing my money away to people who do not deserve it! Wasting money on his power grab, BS it is temporary … and watching his lapdogs lap up this crap.

he is a cheat, ask his first wife, ask his current one! He is liar, check any news source. He wants money, where is my train and why is declawing cats a hot topic right now? Where is the money from the masks he bought from China during Covid, or the money for the fire victims …

20

The cat declawing legislation is his bid for the Nobel Prize.
And he’ll probably get it.

Proposition 50 – Undeniable proof that Democrats DO cheat in elections, in this case overruling the California Citizens Redistricting Commission which was created by the voters in 2008 to end partisan redistricting.
A yes vote on 50 will rob Californians of their decision to end gerrymandering in California & will allow that political malfeasance to be openly practiced in California AGAIN !
Voters will be disenfranchised in many areas and will wind up in new districts with representatives they never even had a chance to vote for or against.
*
As Rev. Mac Shorty said:
“When politicians gerrymander, they divide our neighborhoods and weaken the voice of communities of color”.
“Whatever happens in Texas, we cannot save democracy by destroying it in California, vote NO on 50”.
*
https://elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov/statewide-elections/public-display/prop-50-arg-against.pdf

I think gerrymandering is a terrible idea that brings out the worst in democracy. However, there is nothing in the Constitution that prohibits it. And the Supreme Court seems poised to eliminate the provision of the Voting Rights Act that allows race to be used to create election boundaries.

There is something in the California State Constitution that prohibits it.
That’s what Gavin Newsom is trying to change so he can cheat republicans out of having any representation in CA. and let Democrats dominate the Congress… it isn’t an act of political fairness it’s a Ratf**k

5
1

For What It’s Worth,
.
Gerrymandering of some sort has existed since the early years of the Republic. It’s nothing new!
.
It was the activist Warren Court that made gerrymandering worse with several decisions in the 1960s, which overturned 175 years of precedence when the Court found the “Little Federalism” model of apportionment unconstitutional, and they instead created the “One person, one vote” rule of apportionment, which has absolutely nothing to do with the number of times a person votes, but mandates close to equal population districts.
.
We were much better represented when districts were drawn based on county lines, within individual counties, and based on natural geographical boundaries and city borders within individual counties.
.
While a past incarnation of the Roberts Court ruled 5-4 that “State/Citizens Redistricting Commissions” are constitutional, the current makeup of the Roberts Court would likely find them unconstitutional. If you think about it, the U.S. Constitution gives the State Legislatures authority to draw Congressional Districts, should the State Constitutions be able to take away that authority from the State Legislatures and give it to State Redistricting Commissions without a Constitutional Amendment?
.
Do you really think gerrymandering doesn’t exist with the current Citizens Redistricting Commission? When California voters passed Proposition 20 – Citizens Redistricting Commission for U.S. House of Representatives in 2010, Democrats held 34 House seats and Republicans held 19 House seats. After redistricting in 2012, Democrats held 38 House seats and Republicans held 15 House seats. After redistricting in 2022, Democrats held 40 House seats and Republicans held 12 House seats. After the 2024 election, Democrats hold 43 House seats and Republicans hold 9 House seats. It’s not like the Citizens Redistricting Commission has been bad for Democrats and good for Republicans.

The story has changed…
Nancy Pelosi now claims she never refused National Guard protection for the January 6th protest!

  • The old girl snapped at a reporter and told her to “SHUT UP!” too! LoL!

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2025/10/15/nancy-pelosi-snaps-at-reporter-asking-why-she-refused-national-guard-on-january-6-shut-up/

Gavin vetoed a fire prevention bill citing cost as his reason. At the same time he’s spending $250 million promoting Prop 50. One of these benefits CA and the other benefits Gavin. Is he really working for you?

What a pathetic hypocrite.

The Professor,
.
Governor Gavin Newsom also complained about the cost of his recall election, but he’s now more than happy to spend even more money on his redistricting proposition election.
