The following is from the Contra Costa County Health Department:
Today, health officers from the 13 Bay Area health jurisdictions advised the public to get updated vaccines now to protect against flu and COVID this season. The fall 2025 updated flu vaccine and fall 2025 updated COVID vaccine are now available in pharmacies and doctors’ offices throughout the Bay Area.
Everyone 6 months and older is recommended to receive an updated flu vaccine each year. Everyone 6 months and older who lives in California can also get the updated fall 2025 COVID vaccine for protection against COVID infection. Health officials from the Counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, San Benito, San Mateo, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, and Sonoma and the City of Berkeley want everyone in the Bay Area to know that these vaccines are safe and effective.
Vaccines help you and your family stay healthy, preventing severe illness and hospital visits. The State of California provides science-based recommendations about exactly who needs vaccination to protect against respiratory viruses, and Bay Area health officials are aligned with these recommendations that safeguard vaccine access. The COVID vaccine is especially recommended for older adults, pregnant people, infants and toddlers, and anyone else with risk for serious disease.
Get vaccinated with the updated vaccines at your regular healthcare provider or a pharmacy covered by your insurance. Despite recent federal changes, the updated fall 2025 COVID shot is still free or low-cost for people who live in California and who have health insurance regulated by this state for different services as a doctor or a dentist you can find online. The same goes for the annual flu shot.
Resources in Contra Costa County include:
- Public Health immunization clinics around the county for underserved populations.
- Walk-in flu vaccination clinics for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center & Health Centers patients this month.
- If you are having difficulty finding a provider offering COVID shots for your child aged 6 months to 2 years, please call your local health department, consult your pediatrician, or go to the State’s MyTurn website.
How about never for me and I never get the flu haha! Everyone I know that gets the shots gets sick so what does that say? But go ahead and be a good sheeple, listen to your government that constantly lies to you and keep making those pharmaceutical companies rich.
Yeah, building up the immune system is great idea. Treating your body like a sports car with good food, exercise and avoiding toxic pharmaceuticals is a great idea.
To stay healthy, I will get a free shot every time I go to Safeway?
Everytime? Wow now that is dedication!

I’m reading your post as a joke, and guessing your down votes are from people who haven’t seen all those free shots posters at Safeway, both in and outside the store.

yeah…. I’ll get right on that
Never get em, Never Will. Vaccine means Permanant Immunity, this stuff does not deliver that. And don’t get me started on the efficacy of mRNA!
I will get the flu shot, no worries on my part.
As for the COVID shot, you can take that and shove it where the sun don’t shine.
The world-wide democide continues…BREAKING NEWS: The First Tribunal (court) in the world to issue a Declaration that mRNA injections are, in fact, a biological and technological weapon!.

Laughable at best! never took 1 cofeefee shot and never will still alive more than 5 years after the sky fell…
No.
I’ve had eleven covid shots since the first one that I got in late January, 2021. I finally got covid in June of last year, but it wasn’t all that severe. Certainly, I didn’t have to go to the emergency room, hospital or the morgue, unlike some other people i’ve known. The only side effect I’ve ever had was a sore arm for about three days. I’ll be geting my flu shot in a couple of weeks and my covid shot a week later to be ready for the holiday season.
Yeah but the real reason you’ve stayed healthy is because you never forget your mask when you get behind the wheel. 🤣
No it’s not! I’ve (we’ve) never had flu shots or COVID ones!
We watched all our guinea pig friends get theirs and think they were the cats meow strutring their I got my covid shot on their t-shirt.
Never had a flu vaccine, nor had the flu. Fortunately also I’ve never had COVID. Plenty I know who
have, from friends to family members. Long COVID is a beast.
My heart goes out to those that have suffered and passed with it.
Flu shot? Covid Shot? Haven’t you all learned your lessons yet????
