Quick Response By Concord Police Leads To Four Arrests At Local Shopping Center

A quick response by Concord police officers led to the arrest of four suspects following a theft at the Sunvalley Mall this week. According to police, officers were dispatched after receiving a report of several individuals running from a store with stolen merchandise. When officers arrived, the suspects attempted to flee in different directions. After a brief foot pursuit, all four juvenile suspects were apprehended. All of the stolen items, valued at approximately $3,400, were recovered. The juveniles were booked and later transported to Juvenile Hall. Detectives are investigating whether the group may be connected to other recent high-value thefts from the same store over the past two weeks.
