UPDATE: Walnut Creek Burglary Suspects Identified, Arrested & Charged

The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office has filed residential burglary charges against two suspects in connection with the break-in on Perada Drive and Citrus Avenue in Walnut Creek last week. Jeremy Arellano, 36, of Concord, and Rae Mones, 47, of Oakland, were both charged on October 23, 2025. Authorities thanked the community for their strong support and assistance in helping identify the suspects.

Well, that was quick. It seems to be an example of what can happen when there is a fairly decent security camera image of the suspect(s).

We still don’t know how the dog was involved or what his or her name is.
