After 35 years, the Clayton Station shopping center (Safeway) on Clayton Rd at Kirker Pass will be getting new entrance signs (pictured above). The signs will have the names of several, but not all of the businesses in the shopping center. They’ll be located on at the Kirker Pass entrance near Starbucks, and on Clayton Rd, at the entrance near Travis Credit Union (formerly Blockbuster Video, formerly formerly The Wherehouse Music & Video)

I see quite a few merchants opted out of giving money to have their name on this sign, honestly I think it’s a waste of money to even put it up.
The old one has style, the new one is mundane. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
