I’ll make a deal with you; you clean my roof gutters and I’ll clean your bathrooms! I actually love doing it because it’s so satisfying when everything is perfectly spick and span and smelling bright and clean! Yeah I guess I’m weird that way:-)
Vacuum, and I don’t mean a quick once over. The furniture has to be moved and replaced after a thorough cleaning. Some of my furniture is real heavy, so I usually vacuum around
it. The other day, while I was cleaning, I looked behind my desk and was surprised at how
much dust and cat hair has accumulated over the years. The desk in question is a solid
oak rolltop and weighs in the neighborhood of 400 lbs. If I empty the drawers and remove everything in and on the desk it will lose some weight, but it’s still too heavy for me with
my aching back.
We have one of those too that’s designed as a computer desk with a pull-out tray for the keyboard for the keyboard behind a hinged “false front.” The only way to move it is to remove the top part (with the rolltop). It has excellent ergonomics, with pull-outs on both sides for the mouse pad and papers and a full depth printer drawer on the left. We got it over 30 years ago, so the printer drawer us set up for tractor feed paper from below. However, I would need to disconnect the computer and peripherals, so we just vacuum around it.
I got mine over 30 years ago too, I think it was at Furnishings 2000. It was located in
Pleasant Hill on Contra Costa Blvd.

I have started referring to my household chores as “Workle”.It usually takes me a minimum of 3 to 4 attempts to get things right.

Anything that requires me to get up on the roof, crawl in the attic or under the house… which I actually can’t do anymore because my current home has a concrete slab foundation (yay)
Everything else is E-Z especially the bathrooms! Sparkling clean.

Clean my place up, get rid of unused things and take out the garbage every other day.
Clean the bathrooms. Currently have that once a month for the two bed/bath home.
The bathrooms.

Sounds good to me!

Dusting, then cleaning the garage, in that order.
