With all due respect to your comment, I see voting as a personal issue, but anybody
that has read my past comments on political subjects, can probably guess how I voted
anyway.

Yep, fighting fire with fire. We are a TWO party nation. I picked the side that’s for helping others. Pick a side and make it better.
CA is already controlled by the Democratic Party. Why are there so many homeless encampments everywhere and people living out of their cars? Why was California recently tied for first place for having the highest poverty rate in the US? Why do we have to wait to have toothpaste taken out of a locked cabinet? Is this is the side that is ‘helping others’ that you speak of?
The party that’s for helping others indeed – Criminals, illegal aliens, welfare lifers, Peter Paners, those that love never ending redundant endless high taxes….
The proof is in the pudding, people. Put down your phones and open your eyes.

NO! California has already been ridiculously gerrymandered & the proposed redistricting is even more outrageous!
Prop 50 cheats voters and favors political fraudsters.
“Ridiculously gerrymandered” is hyperbole and you know it. California, on most any report you will find, has slight bias but is better than the average state when it comes to misrepresentation. But as long as you’re loud, you’re right!
You are wrong, Independant redistricting is now gone and the Dems are never going to allow it back so we will go back to great bias in favor of the Dems when it comes to misrepresentation.
You would think it was that easy, but a lot of people are extremely stupid. haha. #NOon50

No. Spare me the talk about “temporary”. You know why they claim it’ll be temporary? Because they know it sucks and making it permanent would be less desirable. Now, when is the last time any power given to politicians or taxes that was presented as “temporary” was ever rescinded? Never. One more nail in the coffin of CA. Surrounded by idiots.
Didn’t you read the voter pamphlet? It is written in the law that just passed.
Trump tells Texas to gerrymander so they and NC redraw districts to aid Republicans. But you are upset when CA responds in kind. Admit it, you are not for democracy. For you it is win at any cost for you party only.

Yup, a big ‘ol Yes! Looking forward to seeing the results tonight, both here in CA and back east in NYC, VA, and NJ.
Ron Desantis Governor of Florida has promised if Prop 50 passes in California he will redistrict in Florida to create 5 newbies to counter California’s 5 ….. Newsom just wasted a lot of time and money…. he’s real good at that.

NO ! ! ! ! ! ! . Voters took redistricting away from state legislature and governor twice. . 2008 . Prop 11 . voters approved “A “yes” vote supported transferring the legislative redistricting
power from elected representatives to a 14-member commission;
establishing a process for selecting commissioners; and requiring
a supermajority vote to approve redistricting map.”
.
2010 . Prop 20 . voters approved
“A “yes” vote supported transferring the task of congressional
redistricting from the California State Legislature and the governor
to the California Citizens Redistricting Commission, which was
created by Proposition 11 in 2008.”
.
So state legislature and governor, DON’T CARE about wishes of
voters and decide to take back redistricting.
.
Prediction, within a week a Court case will be filed witch newson
and democrats will lose.

My wife and I both voted no on the mail-in ballot weeks ago and yesterday and then again today we both got a letter in the mail from the voting office that neither of our signatures matched what they had on file which is an absolute crock of crap as they are the the same signatures we’ve been signing our mail in ballots for decades. I suspect when they opened up both the envelopes and saw that they were no votes they decided to not count them and they sent us a letter saying we can vote again with a new signature that will be on file as long as we have it mailed by the end of the month which is another crock of crap. Talk about election rigging and bullsh**.
My understanding is that if it passes, it will likely be challenged in court, found unconstitutional, and struck down, just like several other measures we have voted on in the past. At least I will agree with this joke being overturned. And Gavin is being shot down while wasting taxpayer money.

Yet … it still passed.
Such a shame.
I am still proud of my vote. I will continue to tell people that I voted no, I tried to prevent Newscum from destroying this once great state even more. I did my part …and now I have to live with the repercussions of a passing vote for Prop 50.
When can I retire and get out of this state?

Everyone that I know, except for my crazy vegan aunt, voted NO!!!
The win was predetermined, by the Dem’s cutting off public assistance right before the vote, and allowing illegals to vote. Why else would you allow people to vote without showing ID.
Yet, I have to show ID to check in at Dr office to use medical that I pay for, but illegals don’t have to show ID for their FREE Medical, housing, or public assistance, it’s absolutely one way B.S. I’m sick and tired of paying for other people whom get better service than us.
There is nothing fair about living in this corrupt, crap hole of a State. One more yr until my wife retires, and we are gone…we are moving to America for a better life!!!

Warm Kitty – It’s their business. Their choice.
