Actually not us and our grown kids not at all either. Don’t even know anybody friend lies but we don’t keep a big circle of friends anyway. The FAA shutting down airspace canceling flights and whatnot doesn’t affect us we do not fly commercial and if need be I can fly VFR and not really need ATC like commercial airlines do cept for 5 minutes before take off and landing. I do feel for ATC employees tho they get screwed!

I have not feel any effect. I think the democrats should dig in until the republicans roll over; I don’t get any ebt or planning to travel anywhere soon so I could careless if people rioting for food and airport shutdown (tsa workers and air traffic controllers are quitting cuz they aren’t getting). Hell, let the economy collapse so we could blame it on Trump and it is guarantee that the next president will be a democrat (maybe Newsome?).

No effects yet, but Monday might be a different story. The wife and kids are flying out of SeaTac then. Could get ugly for them, but maybe Schumer will come to his senses by then. Sarc

doesn’t affect me one bit. 48 MILLION people on SNAP. That’s a travesty, burn it all down, bunch of freeloaders. On TV I saw a line at a foodbank, more than one Tesla in line. Make that make sense. No, people use SNAP to supplement their lives, not to survive. Time to cut it all and start over. Show up in front of a 12 person committee and plead your case as to why the government should be feeding you. There will be a few, but NOT 48 MILLION.

Not for Us.
Our Son-in-Law, who was Coast Guard retied 2010, is now in BLM.
He is without pay but has to report to work since he is an essential.

Not so far, but being employed by them I will let you know.

If the shut down continues some radical group might “kidnap an heiress and threaten her with a knife” unless free groceries are given to all the tax-takers!

Not at all.
Myself and all of mine do not depend on the government. We all support, provide for, and take care of ourselves. Only if there’s a fire, or a need for police services, then we call.

Not at all. Only have to watch little chuckie sweat out his shutdown, knowing his days as Senator are numbered regardless of what he does now. Then we all get to listen to a child-voice dimwit, with a dull Emperor Palpatine in knitted mittens sitting behind her, randomly shouting out “billionaires!”
