I may not be in the same house or I’ll be dead, …?
Otherwise, it’s a wait & see kind of thing.

AI will takeover & be deeply integrated with everything… healthcare, transportation, automation, military, education, etc. Unfortunately this will continue with the “dumbing” of Americans and especially kids who already have trouble thinking for themselves – it will only get worse. Of course if (I hope not when) we have a WWIII all bets are off to what I just wrote.
There will be a turning point in technology with advancements in the use of biotechnology,
AI, and automation. Scientific and medical research will see a significant change resulting
in sophisticated medical treatments, including advancements in treating heart disease,
and curing some forms of cancer.
Elon Musk’s company, Neuralink, is in the process of developing a brain implant that will stimulate the visual cortex, restoring vision to the blind. Neuralink has been working on
treating a wide range of neurological and psychiatric conditions. Conditions like epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s, dementia, and severe depression. There is so much to
look forward to, and the possibilities regarding science and medical research are endless.
The use of automation will bring a major shift in the job market, especially in Industries like medicine, labor and transportation, which will have an impact on the global economy.
Anyone entering college will have to do some serious research on what courses to study if they want to get ahead in this ever-changing world. The future is here, and those that refuse
to accept it will be left out in the cold.

AI will have taken so many jobs the social contract will have to be rewritten and UBI implemented. Either that or AGI is still “20 or 30 years away” but most R&D is already gone because everyone invested in it took enormous losses for too long.

Healthcare.
AI will handle diagnostics, screening, and (likely) treatment management under a very select group of medical experts. Far less chance of human error, but much more sterile.

I shudder to think what California will look like! Now that Gavin Newsom’s prop 50 passed, the democrat supermajority in California will overwhelm, and there will be no voice andcrepesentation of moderates& conservatives in the state anymore. What one-sided craziness lies ahead!
Everything.
