Clayton Crime Roundup – Clayton Police Report Week Marked By DUI Arrests, Petty Theft, And Vandalism

The Clayton Police Department has released its activity report for the week of November 7 through November 12, detailing several arrests, traffic incidents, and property crimes across the city.

Traffic Collision
On November 7, officers responded to a traffic accident at Clayton Road and Tara Drive just after 1:00 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Arrests
Early on November 7, a 43-year-old Concord man was stopped near Clayton Road and Duncan Drive for vehicle code violations. Officers determined he had an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and later released on a signed promise to appear.

During the early morning hours of November 8, officers contacted a 31-year-old Clayton man near Clayton Road and Kirker Pass Road. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and transported to the Concord Police Department for booking.

A second DUI arrest was made on November 9 when a 21-year-old Concord man was stopped near Clayton Road and Schenone Court. Officers determined he was driving under the influence, and he was also taken to the Concord Police Department for booking.

Burglaries and Thefts
On November 12, officers responded to a petty theft report in the area of Kirker Pass Road around 7:30 p.m.

Vandalism
Police also documented a vandalism incident reported on November 10 in the Mt. Zion Drive area.
