Three Drivers Arrested During Concord Police DUI Enforcement Patrol

by CLAYCORD.com

The Concord Police Department arrested three drivers on suspicion of DUI during a DUI enforcement patrol on November 14, 2025. Officers noted that drivers charged with DUI typically face about $13,500 in fines and penalties, along with a suspended license.

The department is reminding the community that impaired driving is not limited to alcohol. Certain prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs can affect a driver’s ability to operate a vehicle, and warning labels should always be read and followed. Although medicinal and recreational marijuana are legal in California, driving under the influence of marijuana remains illegal. Concord Police will continue conducting DUI enforcement patrols throughout the year as part of ongoing efforts to keep local roadways safe. Funding for this patrol was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
