I have what my company offers whis is TRASH, what I want is a voucher to pick my own insurance like I used to before all middleclass and hardworking Americans were saddled with the abomination known as the ACA. The insurance companies have gotten a mighty fat wallet on our dime thanks to the ACA. It needs to be repealed and people need to go to work to work for their own insurance.

They’re all ridiculous – you have some under paid, under experienced, over worked rep denying 95% of the Dr referrals – who knows more of what a patient needs? A Dr or a rep who has no clue?
I have had some procedures denied in the past, but a simple call to explain was adequate to then be covered. Keep in mind that in many circumstances, they have to watch for fraud. I know that it is not always the case, but as everything bureaucratic, thieves know how to work the system (and we honest people tend to bear the cost).
I get my medical care from the Veterans Administration. A lot of VA facilities have bad reputations, but I can’t complain about the care I get in Nashville. However, many of the providers I see are wearing Vanderbilt name tags.

What we need is universal health care like the rest of the Industrialized World! A $1 trillion dollar military is not the answer!
Guido,
.
Each state, county, and city are free to create their own universal healthcare programs, it doesn’t have to come from the federal government. So, how about you contact Governor Gavin Newsom, Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors Chair Candace Anderson, and Concord Mayor Carlyn Obringer and tell them to get started on creating and funding a state, and/or county, and/or city universal healthcare program for all citizens. Or do you not want universal healthcare for all citizens, but instead for all residents?
.
Many of those countries in the “industrialized world” only have those universal healthcare systems because the people of the United States subsidize the security and military in those countries. If it weren’t for the U.S., and these countries didn’t have us to protect them, then they wouldn’t be able to afford universal healthcare and be able to adequately fund their security and military needs.
.
Additionally, in many of these countries with universal healthcare, citizens are esentially being forced to purchase private healthcare insurance due to wait times of a year or more to not only see a doctor, but in some countries a wait time of a year or more before an appointment is even scheduled.
