I make it a point to thank God for something every morning when I get up.
Today it was the invention of the Compact Disc…. yay!
I thanked the Almighty (and Phillips & Sony too).
When I think of all the time I spent fixing those stupid tapes getting eaten by the cassette deck it makes me furious.
That reminds me, VHS was a pain in the butt too… Sunday morning I’ll have to be thankful for DVDs.

A good friend of mine celebrates Thanksgiving the Saturday before. One of her daughters has to work on Thanksgiving every year, so they settle. I’d request the day off myself, but not everyone is assertive, nor are they familiar with the squeaky wheel. Life goes on…

There have been a bunch of small business burglaries this month. I’m going out of my way to patronize many of them. I hope others do also. The proprietors will appreciate the support and hopefully choose to continue as lawlessness becomes the norm.
I’m going to help by patronizing some small bar owners… well, they haven’t been burglarized… at least not lately, but why quibble?
