Concord Police have issued a lockdown on Sunday afternoon due to law enforcement activity on Ward Way, which is near the Diablo Japanese American Club on Treat Blvd. They are negotiating with a person inside a house on Ward Way. They believe the person may be armed and dangerous.
UPDATE: The lockdown has been lifted. Further info from CPD will be provided tonight or tomorrow.
UPDATE: The suspect committed suicide with a gun.
