Fruit salad with coconut. YUCK
.
Most liked, entire serving bowl of mashed potatoes with turkey gravy.
Make extra for everyone else.

Canned cranberry sauce and casseroles.

On Thanksgiving, all the food is great and nothing is overrated. 😊

That is my feeling as well, Cyn, I cannot think of anything at Thanksgiving that is not awesome.

Pumpkin pie

Get your thumbs ready to point down, but turkey is not very good. That’s why nobody ever eats it, except at Thanksgiving. Sorry.

YES! Turkey is awful. I make chicken or steak 🙂

wouldn’t put a thumbs down, but will retort that I absolutely love turkey; had 4 already this season.

Green beans…. I just slide those onto another plate.

Yams and sweet potatoes.

Turkey.

The turkey; it is all symbolic. Too dry to eat no matter how much gravy is on the meat. I just eat the stuffing if there is no ham at the dinner.

I like dry turkey. In fact, on the rare occasions when I eat meat at all, I like it nice and dry.

Turkey. I’m just not a fan of it.

You folks are just overcooking your turkeys.

Nah. It is just a gross tasting meat. I make whole chicken or steak. SO much better!

I agree. Turkey will come out dry and bland if not cooked properly.

Deep-fried turkey always comes out juicy, but smoked turkey is the tastiest. The thing
to remember is low and slow. Low temperature and slowly cooked. Turkey becomes dry
when cooked at too high of a temperature and is overcooked. The internal temperature should be 165 degrees, and cooked for 30 to 40 minutes a pound at 230 degrees.

Turkey. Bleh.

When my sister-in-law gets creative. 1 year was a pasta salad with kale. Anything with kale is yuck.

I have to edit my entry above based off this. Pasta salad would be a hard no. Kale just allows me to say hell no.
