Love: Stuffing, made from scratch, no mix involved.
Hate: Green bean casserole, especially if it’s made with canned green beans….yuck!

Kind of like the question a couple days ago. Love all the food we are served on Thanksgiving. Doh had mentioned pasta salad with kale, which I have never been served on Thanksgiving, but if I was served that, it would be one I hate.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!

Hate pumpkin pie, and anything with pumpkin flavor, despite my dad use to grow them. Love the eggnog pie I use to make, it has a pecan crust and eggnog mousse filling made with lots of egg and cream, and rum and brandy, then topped with whipped cream, and shaved dark chocolate, it is quite a production and very decadent. For a simpler and heathier pie I also make a cranberry upside down cake, add a little orange liquor or brandy to give it a little kick, served with whipped cream.
My recipe if from Gourmet Magazine November 1975 or 76, I still have that magazine somewhere.

Well…. I don’t dislike any of the normal T-Day offerings but if anybody ever served Okra with dinner I’d pick up the bowl and heave it into the backyard no matter what day it is!

Oh…. and I rate pumpkin pie or apple pie (with whipped cream) a tie for 1st place.

The eggnog pie sounds delicious.
Thank you it is, I haven’t made it in years, but when I did, I got lots of compliments.
I have passed your eggnog pie recipe on to Mrs. Spectator.
Thank you, sounds fantastic!
