To keep a ladder from falling, it would have been a good idea to run a rope through the
ladder and tie it around the pillars.
Putting them up a bit each day – after Thanksgiving

No. Too much time and effort for putting it up and taking it down.
We put them up the weekend after Thanksgiving. In the future, whenever we get around to it.
I like to keep my holidays in order, so our Christmas decorations were not up before Thanksgiving. I got our outside decorations up on Friday to beat the weekend storms. I also got the tree up on Friday, so my wife and grandson could decorate it on Saturday.
Nope no decorations this year kids going to in laws so we get freedom this year no holiday cooking, decorations and tree won’t even come out of the box. Nope won’t miss any of that at all!
Yep three trees up only 2 more to go
