The Circle K convenience store and 76 gas station at the corner of Ygnacio Valley Road and Alberta Way in Concord is currently undergoing a full conversion. The site is being rebranded as a Chevron station, complete with a new Chevron ExtraMile convenience store. Construction and signage changes are already underway, and the location is expected to fully reopen under the Chevron brand soon.

…. oh too bad! Chevron gas pumps always shut off every 5 seconds – 76 has been great – anybody know why the conversion? Hope they keep the same pumps…. my fav station 🙁

Pumps will act up and shut off when the filters at the pump are not maintained. All brands of gasoline can plug up these filters. When they act up, it is due to poor maintenance.

Try putting the handle upside down when your filling up. That has helped me before when ive had this problem.

That station has always had the highest gas prices around but I bet it must convenient for all the Ygnacio commuters.

Are they keeping the car wash open?

Won’t buy chevron gasoline.
I’ve seen inside of refinery pipelines.
Worked refinery field construction at Richmond in mid 1970s.
