Nothing will change until they redo the design of
traffic , add license plate readers , security cameras
and add Concord PD substation.

they are all stolen cars. Soft targets where they know no one will shoot at them.

Too hard to go to school, get an education, go to college or junior college, and get a job. Nah, easier to get dressed up all in black, masks, hammers to smash and grab. Same stolen getaway cars. Same stupidity. Same demographic. Nothing will change.

only limited by their pain.

Geez, cops don’t even bother with suspect descriptions anymore…. Yeah I know, we all know what they look like. But no car description or license plate?
Aren’t there any cameras at SVM?

They have the same camera system used by Brown University.

The Mall has security lots of stores have security, they can’t be everywhere at once. It is easy for outsiders to be critical, fact is security does catch some, a fair amount, but it very hard to catch smash and grab, the are very fast

Well…. 9.9 out of 10 times they just keep hitting jewelry stores… that kind of narrows it down, doesn’t it?

Smash and grab happen at other stores, but does not get as much publicity, amounts are smaller, but still infuriating if you witness it. I’m not saying it can’t be prevented, but smash and grab is hard to catch. I understand your and other frustrations over this, but I hate that so many dumb on security who has a difficult job, and for the most part I believe do their best.

Soft on crime criminal supporting politicians and their supporters are mainly to blame for all of this. Criminals know that there will be no consequences for terrorizing our businesses and communities.

Oops. My mistake. It’s not ‘politicians’ that are responsible for criminals running wild and terrorizing our once safe communities, it’s DEMOCRAT politicians that are responsible for it(and all of those who support them by voting them into office).

Nope. Still wrong. It’s not Democratic politicians. We all know what they are going to do when elected. They don’t hide it. The blame lies directly in the laps of the Democratic voters who vote these parasites into office. The same voters who act dumbfounded at the rise in crime. YOU GET WHAT? YOU VOTE FOR!!!!

This seems to be happening all the time at Sunvalley Mall now. Is it the Antioch gang or the Oakland gang? I remember when the Mall was really a very nice place. Shame.

The mall took away a lot of really good childhood memories. It’s not what it used to be by any means. A well-meaning family member from across the country sent me some chocolates that I had to go to the mall to pick up. That was the last place I wanted to go and park my car and go to a store that I had never been to.
Of course I had to be polite, but that place has no soul anymore.
It’s dead.

I guess we know what their family is getting for Christmas

I wouldn’t count on that if it’s high end jewelry they most likely will sell it, and buy something cheaper for their family
Besides don’t know that thieves care a lot about families.

There were no reported injuries, and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The incident remains under investigation.” What a complete and total joke they are still at large and definitely a risk to any community!

Cutting through the BS: Crime pays in California.
