National Weather Service Issues High Wind Watch For Bay Area

by CLAYCORD.com
1 comment

A High Wind Watch has been issued for the Bay Area and Central Coast from 7 PM Tuesday evening through 4 AM Wednesday morning due to southerly winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts to 60 miles per hour. Damaging winds could down trees, snap power lines, and result in property damage, with widespread power outages possible. Travel could be extremely difficult and hazardous, especially for high profile vehicles. The combination of wind and moist soils also increases the risk for downed trees.
