Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-10) announced he will host his first town hall of the year on Tuesday, January 13 at 12:00 p.m. PT over Zoom to discuss the news of the day, ranging from “President Trump’s pursuit of an unconstitutional oil war in Venezuela” to rising health care costs and more. He will also take questions from constituents. To reserve your spot and receive a Zoom link or to request special accommodations, visit https://desaulnier.house.gov/town-hall-rsvp or call (925) 933-2660.

Claycord/ChatGPT Fact Check: The claim that U.S. actions are “unconstitutional” is an opinion, not a court-established fact.

Q. How do the actions our nation takes in Venezuela matter to the citizens in your district?

Does DeSourair ever do anything besides complain about Donald Trump?
Does he ever actually accomplish anything useful and or helpful for the middle class on his own?

He accomplishes drinking booze every single night and looking like 💩

Yep just look at how red his face and nose are classic alcolhol abuse symptoms!

Trump could pull a drowning baby from the ocean with his own hands and “Furious D” here would complain that Trump starved the sharks.

This guy is a goon. Hyper focused on Trump and doesn’t address real local problems. Do your job scumbag.

This tool is like a broken record. He acts as if his entire constituency is deranged angry old white women.

Shut up, Mark. You’re completely useless to the people you’re supposed to be serving. Even on your own website you list your embarrassing and years old “accomplishments”. If you weren’t so clueless, you’d see it yourself. Instead, you’re high on your own farts. This is the list: protecting the public from faulty guardrails, authored legislation BUT NEVER PASSED megaproject oversight, “spearheaded” legislation about selection processes. “Worked to safegaurd” (means he sent an email) about the Volkswagen scandal, from 2015! “Pursued investigations” (means he sent another email about ExxonMobil. Authored legislation BUT NEVER PASSED lowering interest rates on student loans. Passed a measure to “encourage” (means nothing) schools to be better with concussed athletes. Voted to expand the John Muir historic site, something nearly EVERY congressperson voted for, “promoted legislation (another email sent) to prevent another BP oil spill that happened in 2010! You’ve done NOTHING for your constituents except fight against Donald Trump and the GOP. YOU ARE USELESS.

Meanwhile the state has completely turned to sh** due to your own failed policies.
Fires, Floods, Fraud, Crime, Violence, Homelessness, Horrendous education, and wait for it……..Insolvency.
And you guys think the retroactive wealth tax will save you?
Granted, your stooges will vote for it. But it won’t work.
So, without further recourse, like a game of Buck Buck, you will land on the backs of the middle class. Which is likely where you wanted to be anyway.

I had occasion once to attend a meeting where Charlie Cook, the editor of the long-standing and well-respected “Charlie Cook Political Report,” was a featured speaker. He was sharing his comprehensive view of the political scene at that time in Washington, DC. Afterward, he happened to join our table for lunch. Predictably, table guests began to ask for his feelings about the strengths and weaknesses of their respective House of Representative members. He had comments about each of them. Characteristically, they were detailed and nonpartisan. Eventually, I asked what he thought about my House member, Mark DeSaulnier? He seriously, and quite telling asked, “Mark who?” He had no idea who he was. Enough said.

Mark put down the sign and focus on your district and for heavens sake fix the damn potholes.

This Trump hating empty suit is a total waste of time. The only people that listen to his B S are the simple-minded democrat sheep that vote for him time after time. He is nothing but a brainless democrat rubber in a suit. So, I guess he is really not an empty suit.

25

Haha rubber stamp in a suit

Way to flag yourself Mark as part of America’s problem. Can’t wait for the fraud investigations in your district. I’ve witnessed it first hand for decades. Time to pay the piper.

This guy and Swahell must be twins. They need their own talk show called dumb and dumber.

26

Hey Mark, what are you doing for us. Yeah, us residents of the state you represent. How about poverty reduction, job creation, better maintained infrastructure? Quit spouting off talking points from your party and do something for us. 90% of us don’t give a rat about supposed ‘oil war’ but we do want better things in our own state. Maybe it’s time for you to hang it up.

25
5

More than about time! the rat got elected as a Republican than switched parties once in, he is a true and complete sellout! No better than the trash in the gutter and there is an abundance of that in our gutters as well!

I wonder if this dullard will discuss the fraud around healthcare in CA (the provider tax, designed to increase amount of money CA gets from federal pockets), how that increases costs? Or coverage of those in this country illegally? I think he might want to look up “war.” I like how he has these in the middle of the day when a fair number of his “constituents” are at work. I guess that is one way to limit attendance. I hope somebody asks him what the charge he believes will be the first dem attempt at impeachment and ask how many back up fantasies the dems have planned.

Democrats have ran California for as long as
I have been alive. This state is flooded with
homelessness, unbelievable dept, and multiple
fires.
Costs to live here continue to increase while the
COLA or pay raises barely cover gas prices.
Please explain how we blame republicans?
We don’t have any in charge of running our state

Jesus he drinks a lot.

You can tell he’s a Booze Hound.

Bad case of TDS

Bad case try completely MENTAL!

DeSaulnier is such an embarrassment. Surely we can get somebody better in office than this puppet socialist…

20
2

Haha… Since when does this idiot know the first thing about the Constitution. All he knows is, “ORANGE MAN BAD!” When is he going to stop riding Trump’s sack and do something that benefits his actual constituents?

20
2

OMG! This guy is crazy! We need to vote him out of office next time! He is part of the problem. Are you still think he was okay but he’s really gone wacko! ( and that is not representing his constituents )

15
2

Who keeps voting for this guy anyways?

16
3

California prints ballots in English, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Tagalog, Thai, and Vietnamese, does not require voter ID and you can mail in your ballot.
It’s a perfect setup for the party that embraces “By any means necessary” as one of their infamous motto’s.

Curious,
.
It’s anywhere from 66% – 80% of voters in the California’s 11th Congressional District, formerly California’s 10th Congressional District. In the 2024 election, Congressman Mark DeSaulnier received his lowest percentage of the vote of his Congressional career with 66.5%.
.
It was Republican voters who elected Mark DeSaulnier to the Concord City Council in 1991. It was Republican Governor Pete Wilson who appointed Concord City Councilman Mark DeSaulnier to the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors in 1994 to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of former Supervisor Sunne McPeak. It was Republican voters who elected Supervisor Mark DeSaulnier to the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors in 1994 and reelected him in 1998. In 2000, Supervisor Mark DeSaulnier switched parties and became a Democrat at the urging of Democratic Congressman George Miller III, so that he could continue to be reelected and seek higher office. In 2002, Supervisor Mark DeSaulnier was reelected to the Board of Supervisors as a Democrat. In 2006, Democrat voters elected Supervisor Mark DeSaulnier to the California State Assembly. In 2008, Democrat voters elected Assemblyman Mark DeSaulnier to the California State Senate and reelected him to the same position in 2012. In 2009, State Senator Mark DeSaulnier lost the primary for California’s 10th Congressional District Special Election to Democrat John Garamendi and Republican David Harmer. In 2014, Democrat voters elected State Senator Mark DeSaulnier to the United States House of Representatives and reelected Congressman Mark DeSaulnier to the same position in 2016, 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024.

SHUT UP MARK NO ONE CARES

Mark is about as useful as used toilet paper. Just for once be happy for something that benefits the majority of your constituents!
