They’re not wrong….ICE is out for good. Morons.

Reminds me of the “Pound me Too” debacle. These people have no thoughts of their own, just follow and regurgitate the flavor of the moment. If anyone is unfamiliar, research “Operation Mockingbird”, which also explains how these paid activists somehow, miraculously, show up with professionally printed signs within an hour of whatever they’re told to protest.

Jan. 10: Todos Santos Plaza, Concord.  11:30am to 1pm. “Signs of Fascism/Signs of Democracy” and “ICE Out for Good”.

Indivisible Resisters Contra Costa is joining with Together We Stand and Commit to Democracy for a special action to educate the community through actual signs listing the immoral traits of fascism and the principles of democracy to show what we are standing for and against. We’ll start with a rally with speakers in Todos Santos Plaza at the corner of Salvio St. & Grant St. by the park’s stage followed by a short march through the park to Galindo St. for a honk & wave and return to the plaza. If you are concerned or distressed about what is happening in our country please show up…. and wear all black if you can.

This event will also be part of the national ICE OUT FOR GOODweekend events honoring the tragic killing of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis on 1/7/26. She was one of us.

That’s it? An AI photo and just the name of the demonstration? No other details? No mention of who is putting it on? Who the speakers are and what the topics of discussion are?

This event was organized by Indivisible Contra Costa and was originally slated to be community education event called “Signs of Fascism / Signs of Democracy”. After that trigger-happy PTSD-riddled ICE agent murdered someone earlier this week, a nationwide anti-ICE demonstration was immediately established for the same day. The even underway in Todos Santos Plaza right now is both events.

God, I miss the Pioneer.

Yes that’s it it doesn’t deserve any publicity at all I’m actually surprised it got on here.

16

It’s only being posted so that those with productive things to do with their time can avoid it.

“nationwide”
Remind anyone of what happened to Elon Musk ? ? ? ?
How fast it all came together, almost like protests were
ordered.
.
Wonder if organizers of nation wide protests all got
same blast email.

It appears the Useful Idiot season has gone year round.

I wish I was in town. I could drive an ICE cream truck around after I drop off numerous ICE storage containers. We could even sell some ICEees from 7-11. Alas I am traveling this weekend.

28
14

You could blast “Ice, Ice, Baby” over the loudspeaker.

This sounds like a good place for ICE to show up. If you are here legally, there is not an issue.

69

ICE shows up elsewhere blocks away unnoticed as all the bufoons were protesting 5 blocks over. They did their thing and no one even knew ICE was there.

Apply the same Logic or Reasoning with other events. Are we kicking out Police stations from cities because an Officer messes up? What about the BART police…….did they remove All Policing after Oscar Grant??

If woman killed in Minneapolis had been black,
would be democrat’s wet dream ! ! !
.
In democrat controlled cities “spontaneous”,
“mostly peaceful ” rioting, arson and looting.

Just to clarify, the officer (agent) did not “mess up!” He did his job and followed his training. He went home to his family that night. That’s the goal. I don’t want some joker left-wing nut saying that people are admitting he messed up. He didn’t.

Manufactured outrage. Love your hair! Hope you win!

I’m sure that’s great for business!! Bringon ICE!

Wonder how many there were paid to be there ? ? ? ?

We protest every Saturday at different locations–Todos Santos area; YV Rd and Civic in WC; Liberty Plaza to Main in WC; near PH Bart, and PH Town Hall area. Our Congressman is usually with us on Saturdays and is with other constituents around CA-10, too, on the weekends. Concord Mayor Nakamura is often with us. This was the 48th week. There are MANY other weekly protests in the county. I believe Lafayette is on Wednesday nights.

So it’s just a social event now?

30
10

And how’s all that protesting going for y’all? Yea that’s what I thought. Having TDS is your biggest problem not anything else!

25

You missed the question Concord Rez…. how many were paid, and by the way, what’s the pay scale. Should be good since they’re misdirecting Foundation charity dollars and NGO Grant funds all across the country to hire needy, lonely, and ignorant people to mill around and chant what ever they’re told to chant.
“Gimme an A — Gimme a B — Gimme Stu-pid-i-ty!”
Sometimes, sadly, those people being paid to get all up in the law’s face … don’t get to go home after their day of stupidity.

Your little scheduled protests get my middle finger as I pass buy. I need to start tossing ICE cubes at you all.

That’s great go get a job and do something actually productive for your community.

You enjoy your weekends out there with your little social group. As said above, those with productive things to do with their time are sure to detour!

Sorry, I won’t be able to join your protest group. I believe in the laws of our country, and I definitely don’t believe that citizens have the right pick and choose which laws to abiding by and which ones to ignore. If I think that a law is wrong I will take my gripe to the political process to attempt change, not go out and complain about it like child.

What about illegal invaders out for good?

64
12

Done by 1PM so they can get back home in time for football!

15

As Kool-Aid drinking protesters gather there ICE is elsewhere locally doing what they do best, but they are recording license plates of the cars that the protesters show up in and leave in. Go ahead and confront ICE. FAFO!

I was riding my bike through there just by chance and it looked more like a retirement home emptied out. Most of the people there were seriously geriatric, gray-haired white people. It was canes and depends as far as I could see. They even had old ladies holding stop signs for the fossils to safely cross into the park. They called for people to not respond to Trump supporters, probably because it would have been a slaughter. Mostly what I saw was a traffic jam all around the are as wheelchairs and crutches tried to get into the park. Maybe someone paid these poor, senior citizens to be there. No joke!

36
15

Have you ever noticed how the White liberals are the first to move when minorities start
moving into their neighborhood? A good example is the Monument neighborhood. When
I moved to Concord in the 80s it was all White, in the mid 90s when the Latinos began
moving in, the White liberals began moving out. Now it’s mostly all Latinos.
Hypocrites, every last one of them, and the naive and foolish Latinos think the libs are their friends.

28
9

You are misremembering what happened. As housing builds increased in east county, white families bought houses and that left vacancies on Monument. So the precious inhabitants on Monument left and Latino families moved in.

1
12

You made my point. The White families moved to East County to get away from the minorities moving in. Now the minorities are also moving to East County, and Whites
are either moving out, or they don’t have any other option but to stay.
I said the Monument neighborhood was an example. Most cities in the US have at least one run down neighborhood. Those neighborhoods at one time were nice and safe until minorities moved in, and the Whites move out. The Bay View neighborhood in San Francisco was well-kept and thriving until the Blacks moved in and turned it into a dangerous ghetto. Oakland, Richmond and Antioch are other examples of cities that had nice and safe neighborhoods until the minorities moved in, and the Whites moved out. Because California and the cities I mentioned have and are being run by Democrats, it’s
a safe assumption to say that the majority of the Whites moving out are liberal Democrats. Face it, Democrats are racist and hypocrites, they do not want to live in a neighborhood with minorities as their neighbors.
How many stores have permanently closed their doors on Monument due to the increase of theft ? Lucky closed because the shoplifting was uncontrollable, and now Food Maxx has cordoned off certain areas and has only one exit door to help deter shoplifting, and Walgreens has some of their merchandise locked up. You can live your life in denial, and you can try to spin it anyway you want, but what I said is based solely on reality.

Hi.
I am one of “The Whites” living in the area of Monument. I grew up on Wilson Lane and have been in Concord all of my 62 years. I worked in the Bay View District, specifically Hunters Point Shipyard, where “The Blacks” moved in. Yes, it was a dangerous place, and yes Concord is becoming more dangerous every day.

So what are we going to do about it? Sit in our homes and postulate about how bad things are, or go out and be a positive influence on our neighborhoods?

I, for one, choose to be a positive force in my community.

@Teacher
So you’re calling white families “precious”? Why would you do that? Oh, how I feel so sorry for all the children in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District.

Looks like you need a new profession because I have lived here for all 57 years of my life and Dawg is 100% spot on! Stop trying to rewrite history to suit you!

Bottom line : They are people who don’t believe in following the laws of our country.
The protesters probably don’t know that their efforts and energy could be directed at changing laws, instead of complaining about them.

25
10

It got reported there was 500 protesters there what they failed to report with that number is half of those were homeless people milling about the area. I call protesters everywhere piss pants protesting because rarely are there any bathrooms available for all these mass protests. I’m sure the protesters keep the local diaper inventory stocked.

13

Confucius says, never bring a car to a gun fight. Three kids and had nothing better to do that day. Maybe she should of tried a JOB. GO ICE

21
9

So these people want the undocumented to be slaves for big business? That’s the bottom line that everyone seems to ignore. Go from one country which enslaved them to another which does the same. I suspect the crowd may be mentally myopic.

23

It’s the “support fraud” protests.
